My family just loves this place. Been here a few times before stayed in a bunch of cabins. Love them all. My mother grew up in Netarts and went to school alot of years with other people in this town. All the people are just great. I would recommend that everyone should visit - this place truly makes people happy. The Kanes

OMGOOOOOOSH what a wonderful experience....Cabin 9 was our hideway for 4 days.Spacious, clean & well decorated..with a warm and homey felling... The view out the living room windows was AMAZING....The cabin sits just back from the beach and a stone throw away to surf's edge....I cant wait to come back in the spring to possibly better weather to use the awesome HUGE fireplace outside and the private deck....My friends swept me away for my birthday to happy camp...The best birthday ever... Thank you soooo much for the wonderful accommodations....I truly was a "HAPPY CAMPER" Debi Weston

oh my gosh, I love this place it was like heaven!!! Jimmy, June and I stayed back in august 2010 and we as a family haven't went on vacation in years! we are saving for our next trip this year and we can't wait! love staying in kindard spirits and will stay there again!! And yet another week idling away the time has to end. Between walking miles of beautiful beach, and time spent relaxing on the patio, we really didn't have room to do much else! We stayed in #4, and found it to be the perfect place to entertain, and to relax. We loved the wrap-around patio, the kitchen, and the sunny upstairs. The bedroom that looks out onto the ocean offered the perfect mix of privacy and serenity. We can't wait to come back soon! Thanks Teresa.

We stayed in cabin #4 for a week and had the most relaxing, wonderful vacation. We loved staying in such a historic home and seeing the old pictures of Happy Camp. We enjoyed having breakfast and playing games in the cute little bay window area with a table and window seats. The living room was spacious and comfy and had a large flat screen TV. The kitchen was sunny and roomy and perfect for cooking all those crab we caught. I especially loved the bedroom overlooking the bay to lay on the bed and read my book. The huge wrap around porch with those awesome white rocking chairs was great! What a perfect vacation. We've come to Happy Camp for 4 years in a row now and look forward to coming again next year! Thanks for always being so kind and accomodating to us, Teresa. You're the best! We LOVE Happy Camp!

2/26/2012 We spent three relaxing days in cabin #6. We kept the fire going night and day! The weather was sunny,rainy, hail and snow! We walked the beach and even sat in the sun one afternoon. My friends and I had a great Easter stay in Anchor's Away. We bbq'ed, walked on the huge beautiful beach, hung out on the deck, and had a nice night by the fire. Perfect spot to relax and getaway for a spell, friendly folks and beautiful environs. Thanks Teresa!

We had a wonderful week-long stay last week - the house felt like home and was very, very cozy. Loved the different spaces in and around the house providing lots of opportunity for enjoying the beach, the outdoors, and excellent family time all around. Truly a relaxing visit thanks to this lovely little house and the thought that's gone in to what's provided in the kitchen, etc. We will be back!

I stayed 4 nights in couple's retreat over Memorial Day and thoroughly enjoyed my time: bed is SO comfy and encourages sleeping in; cabin is well set up for dogs, with easy-to-clean carpet-less floors after long sandy/muddy beach walks; kitchen is well equipped though displays did not work for setting oven temperature, making it tough to bake. Manager Theresa went above and beyond in tending to her guests!!! I'll definitely be back.

My husband and I got married in Portland last Thursday and then drove out with the hound to Happy Camp to spend a long weekend of celebrating our marriage. Appropriately named "Couple's Retreat", Cabin #5 was a wonderful little cabin! It was tucked back enough so we had privacy yet only steps from the beach. We utilized the kitchen and made dinner 2 nights and breakfast 2 mornings. The cabin provided everything we needed. Thanks Happy Camp, we will definitely be coming back!!

Spent almost 2 weeks in this cabin and loved every minute! Though small, it was perfect for me and the dogs. It is a little more private than most of the others, oh so scenic (right on the bay), well equipped with everything one could need -- and if something isn't there, Manager Theresa will find it for you. Never knew it before, but I guess I'm a kindred spirit. I'll definitely be back.

We just had the most wonderful week at Happy Camp! Our "Hideaway" was the historic old house and it was truly a delight! Kitchen with everything you need, plenty of comfortable furniture, a front wrap around porch to watch the beach at your doorstep. Yes the house is rustic but it has charm, charm, charm, and you can watch the crabbing action, follow the Pelicans antics (yes, Pelicans!), and walk for miles on the beach with your dog. Your leashless dog...it is a dog heaven! My husband and I felt we had escaped the real world! Walk the beach, read, explore, fish for seafood, cook, or eat at one of the truly yummy restaurants (for instance Roseanne's!) . Happy Camp is a true escape from the real world outside! Happycamphideaway is a great place to go and relax. The cabins are quaint, the floors slant a bit it just adds to the fun. (one of these times we'll stay in a condo) My husband and I had a great time. We took long walks on the beach, drove around Tillamook, we even drove over Hwy 101 and went to all the cities along the way. It's not that far and a beautiful drive. If you don't want to do that, just sitting on one of the decks or or beach, taking in the ocean views and all the great sounds that go along with it is peaceful as well. We stayed for 5 days and just had a great time. There are tons of little shops within a few short miles if you like to shop. Oh Yeah, our dogs had a blast as well. This was our second visit to Netart's and our second resort home rental. We had a fairly large group getting together for my wife's family reunion. We hadn't had everyone together for over 10 years and wanted the experience to be special. Family Tides exceeded our expectations in every way. The home was the perfect size for our group of 13 adults and two small children. All the furnishings and decor made the home seem both elegant and cozy. Several members of the group enjoyed the hot tub and large deck. We also made use of the gourmet kitchen that was very well equipped, we didn't have to worry about bringing any kitchen gadgets or small appliances. The view of Netart's Bay was breathtaking and we enjoyed some great weather during our stay which gave everyone a chance to step outside and walk the beautiful beach that was practically on our doorstep! My wife and I discovered this place last year and have enjoyed getting to know Teresa and her husband Bruce. They have made Netart's and Happy Camp our favorite "home away from home" and we plan to go back at least once a year!

We have been coming to Happy Camp for four years now and the friends that we come with just stayed for the 11th year in a row. We love this place so much. It is peaceful and beautiful. It very calming to the soul. We intend to keep coming back because we love crab fishing on the beach and sitting on the beautiful deck and watching the ocean. Thank you Teresa for your hospitality. We stayed here for my sisters wedding. I was 9 months pregnant and found it very comfortable! It was a beautiful wedding which we had on the beach and wonderful reception in the yard. We LOVED our stay and have talked about coming back as a family!!! I think this is the best home they have!

My husband & stayed at Cabin#5 (Couple's Retreat) last year (2012) and have booked it again for next year (2014). It was just right for the two of us! And it was next door to the Homestead where a bunch of our relatives stayed. So we were close by, yet had our privacy too when we needed it. The bed was comfy and we had everything we needed right there. Great place to stay!!! Can't wait until next year!!! :-) Linda & Jim Miller

09/25/2013 I stayed five days with 2 of them being so glorious on the beach it was difficult to come back and make food. But once in #6, it feels like home with antique furniture, old hardwood floors and a claw foot tub to soak. The kitchen is small and easy to cook in to prepare a dinner; most everything is supplied, including a coffee grinder. The place is clean and comfortable and I hope to be back again. Fantastic!! Stayed here when a coastal day drive turned into an overnight trip and this is such a great location. With the outdoor fire pit area, indoor fireplace, cozy bedrooms and the nicest owners ever, you simply can't find a better place to stay. My next visit will be much longer, so I can take advantage of the other fun activities that this perfect strip of coast has to offer. Thank you so much for your hospitality!!

Stayed in #9 for the 1st time last October, have stayed in Happy Camp before and liked the look of #9, it is as good as it looks! Having your own private front deck and side fireplace was awesome! Ate breakfast on the front deck several mornings, what a view! Loved that it had a washer and dryer, had all you could need in the kitchen, very cozy place! Great view from the living room of the beach! Already booked another week the 1st of May 2016 for 5 nights, to spend time with our son whose in the USAF stationed in Utah, can't wait!

We've stayed at Happy Camp Hideaway several times of the course of the last decade for family reunions. The place is AWESOME in every way!! We're headed back again in July of 2018 and we can't wait to enjoy this place once again!

We are finishing another great stay at Happy Camp! We have stayed at nearly all the cottages now through the years. This stay was in the Sand Castle which we love, even with slanting floors. 😀 The sand Castle has huge windows with fantastic views for cloudy days, along with a gas fireplace! Several days this week we were on the deck with the sun shining and water sparkling. Our two dogs were in dog heaven on the beach! The Cottage is very comfortable with everything we need and is clean with fluffy towels. It is an old cottage, but charming and cozy. Fabulous stay with lucky June sunshine. Beautiful home!!! Absolutely LOVED staying here! Wish I never had to leave! Family also rented The Homestead house and that was absolutely wonderful and beautiful too! Had my wedding there by the beach and couldn't have been happier with the location and staff! Would definitely recommend and give 5 stars!

We just returned from 3 nights in the Captain's Quarters! What a delight! The owner has thought of everything to ensure a wonderful stay. We brought our 3 grandkids, and they had a wonderful time! The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms fantastic (especially the jacuzzi tub in the master bath!) . The grass area behind provided some frisbee time, playing catch and generally just run around time for 3 kids. The location of the house is great with a beautiful view of Netarts Bay. Would highly recommend for a great getaway. The location is ideal.

This was our first time staying at Seaclusion but definitely not our last! We have a group of 6 friends that go to the beach every year for a long sewing retreat weekend, this year we chose Seaclusion. What a treat! There is more than enough room for us to bring in our tables, sewing machines, ironing boards, food, wine and personal items. We each had our own sleeping areas with 2 full baths, as well as room to each have our own table to sew on. Evenings were very nice with a big, beautiful tv to watch while we unwind while enjoying the pellet stove for additional heat. Netarts is a great little town with a grocery store and good places to eat, Tillamook is within minutes if you need more than that. If the weather had been just a bit different we would have certainly taken advantage of the large, covered front porch while enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean and the quiet, serene surroundings. What a great find!!

8/15/2010 Our daughter, husband, and their two young teens stayed here last summer. They would come over to visit us on the deck at #9. They said this cute little cabin worked just great for them! Very clean, comfortable, and they would open the bedroom door out back at night and listen to birds and frogs! Great seaside fun! The best on the coast with Teresa and Bruce to take good care of you! Was finally able to book a stay here without something in my life getting in the way, and I am SO HAPPY I did. The whole experience was even better than hoped. Cabin #7 is perfect for me and my dog, everything was well stocked, cozy and clean, and the beach is right there! Bonus points for the bathtub - very nice to have a soak after a day wandering the beach. Soul restoring. Happy Camp is especially nice because people are friendly and it feels like a community, but you also get your space, which is what I generally need. I love Netarts, and Happy Camp is THE PLACE to stay. Can't wait to come back - already booked my next stay!

After months in COVID shut down we really wanted to just get away and relax. We loved Bay Haven. Perfect in every way. Theresa assured us that they do a deep, disinfectant cleaning in between each guest, so we felt comfortable taking the risk during this stressful time. It was wonderful to get out in the fresh air, walk the beaches and the stars were incredible. As a family with my grandchildren, it was nice to just pretend that their were no problems in the world. Thank you for being open and taking the steps needed to assure health concerns. We will definitely rent this place again.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet few days on the Oregon coast and were told about Happy Camp Hideaway. We stayed three nights in early August from a Monday through Thursday. We were familiar with Netarts but had not stayed with HCH before. Upon arrival Teresa greeted us warmly and instructed us on the usage of #21. The unit was a three story, connected townhouse with a third floor balcony and first floor parking. Upon entering we immediately knew our time would be just as we'd hoped. The floor plan is well thought out, all spaces were very clean and well maintained and the view of the bay from the third floor balcony was exceptional. We brought all of our own food and found the kitchen to be well stocked with cooking tools as well as plates, cups bowls, etc. It was easy access to Tillamook and points north, to Cape lookout and Pacific City as well as to Cape Mears and Bayocen peninsula. Although there was a family with small children in the connected unit we never had an issue with noise as the units are well insulated. Happy Camp Hideaway has kayak's for use to their guests at no charge which we took advantage of one morning for a few hours. Paddling around the bay and landing on the small island were great diversions. We would not hesitate to return to HCH and recommend the hospitality we found there wholeheartedly.

We stayed here Feb 5th and 6th 2022. What a wonderful fun time we had. The cabin is just great and the beach is right outside your front door. We lived everything about it and our dogs did too. I will definitely be going back again!!

Wavescape is an amazing house. The architecture gives the home a spacious feel. Views are stunning. So much to do. Family loved it.
