Booking A Reservation
A 50% deposit is required to reserve dates for your stay. The dates you wish to book will not be blocked out until you make said deposit.
Payment in full is required 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 30 days must be paid in full, with 50% becoming a security deposit.
Pricing
Happy Camp Hideaway is a seasonal business and therefore rental rates vary throughout the year. There are two rental rate seasons, a Prime Season and a Quiet Season. Prime Season rental rates are higher than Quiet Season rental rates. Prime Season is from May 15th through October 15th. Quiet Season is from October 16th through May 14th with the following exceptions: Spring break (March 18th through March 27th), the Thanksgiving holiday period (Wednesday before Thanksgiving through the Saturday after Thanksgiving) and Christmas through New Years (December 23rd through January 1st). Please see the individual units page for pricing. State and County Lodging taxes will be added to pricing.
Cancellation Policy
Because our properties book by advance reservations only, and we incur costs from cancellations, we must charge a processing fee for cancellations for any reason once the reservation is booked and the deposit received. Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the reservation date will incur a $25.00 penalty to cover costs of reimbursement. In the event of multiple units booked on one reservation the penalty will be $25.00 or 5% of the total your reservation, which ever is greater. Cancellations made less than thirty (30) days but more than fifteen (15) days will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the security deposit. Cancellations less than fourteen (14) days from the arrival will result in a cancelation fee equal to the security deposit. Changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment. Late arrival or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. We do make every effort to be considerate of our guests' emergency situations, and if we are able to book a replacement rental, we will refund the payment, less a $75 cancellation fee, to the original guest.
Please be aware that we DO NOT offer full refunds for weather related cancellations. The cancellation policy still applies.
Maximum Occupancy
Please be aware that each unit has it's own maximum occupancy that is strictly enforced. The maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded at any time for any reason. If the maximum occupancy is exceeded, then your reservation will be cancelled and you will be asked to leave. You will not receive a refund. You will be added to the DO NOT RENT LIST and will not be able to rent from Happy Camp Hideaway going forward. In the event that you have more guests than expected (and exceed the maximum occupancy), please notify Happy Camp Hideaway in advance to book an additional rental unit to accommodate your extra guests.
Privacy Policy
Although we collect information to help us secure your reservation, we respect your privacy. Under no circumstances do we sell, distribute or use your name, address, email to our advantage either at Happy Camp Hideaway or for any other business. The best thing about Happy Camp Hideaway is that it is a place to relax, decompress, and to stay away from telemarketers, spammers and pop ups. You can count on this.
Pet Policy
We offer a large quantity of pet friendly vacation rentals. There are a few rules that you must agree to prior to bringing them to Happy Camp Hideaway.
- Not all rentals are pet friendly. Please see individual units page to see if pets are allowed. Any guest bringing pets into a non-pet friendly unit is subject to cancellation of reservation without any refund.
- No barking or aggressive dogs.
- DO NOT leave pets in cabins, or vacation homes, unattended. Any damage will be your financial responsibility.
- Please clean up after your pet. We have dog elimination bag dispensers on site.
- Please clean up any pet fur prior to checking out. The cleaning that we provide is for our human guests and not for shedding pets. Please be respectful of this as we generously do not charge pet fees to our guests.
